A collaborative project with Environmental Systems Research Institute
of Redlands to design a prototype factory-produced house introducing
American design and structural techniques to Japan. An intense and
demanding schedule required continual team interaction to produce
a large volume of design and detailed construction documents for factory
production. The work included architectural, structural, mechanical,
electrical systems as well as landscape design and assistance during
fabrication and assembly.
